Featuring Aldo Strada

DJ/Producer Aldo Strada has loved music all his life, so it was only natural for it to be a career for him. The NYC area native first picked up the art of DJing when he was 13 years old. A bedroom DJ until age 17, he moved to Manchester, England to study Audio & DJing skills at the School of Sound Recording. There in Manchester, he went from bedroom DJ to a professional. He developed his own sound incorporating the best of European house with his NYC style background.

House music to me is broken down into different styles depending on the country or city of origin. NYC has its own sound... Miami has its own sound... Sweden has its own sound, and so on.î Strada explains. ìIn my sets I try to incorporate all those sounds to make it a very diverse sound that clubbers and music lovers alike will love and dance to.

Inspired by his fellow DJs turned producer, Aldo Strada began producing his first tracks and remixes in the spring of 2006. He is currently working on several productions. In addition to his DJing and producing, Aldo has begun a innovative weekly 90 minute podcast. One of the first DJs using this relatively new and already popular technology, it has already taken off in just a few weeks from the the debut. The Aldo Strada Podcast has received rave reviews as he mixes his great blend of the newest tracks in house and incorporates a guest DJ mix. After just 22 weeks the podcast averages 10,000 downloads a week..

Needless to say, Aldo Strada is destined for great things as the talent he possesses for his age already exceeds the level where most DJs rest. Watch this space as Aldo Strada is making his name in the Electronic Dance Music arena.
